UK Pure Pet Food price check
How much does Pure Pet Food cost?
Pure Pet Food is dehydrated, so you add the water at home and it needs no freezer space. Its price only appears after a long signup quiz, and it moves with how often you take a delivery. This page gives the ongoing price on the default cadence, for six common dog sizes, from prices we recorded in the brand's own funnel.
- Ongoing price per day, per month and across a first year
- Recorded on the default delivery cadence, which is the one you are quoted

Pure Pet Food prices by dog size
Pure portions to your dog's daily calories, and its price climbs more gently with dog size than the cooked brands do. Part of that is water: a large dog's food is largely water you add yourself, and shipping dry weight costs less. These are prices for a neutered adult on typical walks.

Delivery cadence changes the price
Pure lets you choose how often deliveries arrive, and the per-day price depends on it. Taking a bigger delivery half as often came out roughly 10 to 12% cheaper per day in our sampling. The cadence options themselves shift with dog size: around four or eight weeks for a small dog, three or six for an extra large one.
We record the shorter, default cadence, because that is the price you are quoted unless you actively change it. If you are happy to store more at once, the longer cadence is a real saving on the figures in the table above, and it is the first thing to look at before comparing Pure against anything else.
What you are paying for
Dehydrated food is whole ingredients air dried into a mix you rehydrate with warm water. It ships and stores at a fraction of the weight and volume of raw or cooked plans, and it needs no freezer, which is often the practical reason people choose it. For a 14kg adult, Pure came out at about £2.35 a day when we sampled it in July 2026, or roughly £72 a month at the ongoing price.
That sits below both gently cooked brands we track and above the cheapest raw plan for a mid-size dog. The gap narrows as dogs get bigger, because the water you add at home is weight the other formats have to ship and chill. The funnel itself runs to around fifteen steps including health questions, so set aside a few minutes if you want to check your own quote.

Pure Pet Food costs: your questions
How does the Pure Pet Food delivery cadence affect the price?
Taking deliveries half as often worked out roughly 10 to 12% cheaper per day when we sampled it. The available cadences vary with dog size, around four or eight weeks for a small dog and three or six for an extra large one. Our figures use the shorter default, so the longer option should come out below the prices shown here.
How does the Pure Pet Food intro offer work?
The first box is a transition box covering roughly ten to fourteen days depending on your dog's size, and the second box carries a smaller discount. After that the plan settles at the ongoing price this page leads with. The exact current offer is shown in the box above, taken from the brand's own funnel at our last sampling.
Is Pure Pet Food cheaper than fresh cooked dog food?
For a mid-size dog, yes. A 14kg adult came out at about £2.35 a day on Pure against £3.26 for Butternut Box and £3.45 for Different Dog in our July 2026 sampling. Raw came out lower still at £2.09. The order can change with dog size, so the calculator is the way to settle it for your own dog.
Do I need freezer space for Pure Pet Food?
No. It arrives dry and shelf stable, and you rehydrate each meal with warm water at home. That is the main practical difference from raw and gently cooked plans, which both need freezer or fridge space given over to the dog, and it is part of why the price climbs more gently for larger dogs.
