tails.com doesn't publish a price list. It quotes a price per dog at the end of its signup, so the only way to know whether it has changed is to ask it again. We walk that signup ourselves at five dog sizes and record what it quotes, and this page is every reading we hold.

What these figures cover
- Ongoing, not introductory. Opening offers change far more often than prices do, so they are logged separately and left out of every figure here.
- The same dog as the rest of the site. A neutered adult on typical walks, so any figure here can be checked against the calculator and what tails.com costs today.
- Price per day, not per pack. A brand can change a pack size without changing what a dog costs to feed, and a per-day figure for the same dog is the number a subscriber actually pays.
- tails.com quotes a monthly price, not a daily one. Each figure here is that monthly price divided by the average number of days in a month, so a few pence on the monthly bill can show here as a penny a day.
- tails.com prices on how active a dog is and whether it is neutered as well as on its weight, so a dog of the same size that is more active, or not neutered, is quoted a different price from the figures here.
- Every figure is for its dry food alone. Its signup also offers wet food alongside, which is not tracked here.
