Who we are

BowlPrice is published by E-Tara Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 05711631. You can reach us at hello@bowlprice.co.uk. These terms cover this website, its calculator, and our price tools for AI assistants. By using any of them you accept these terms.

What BowlPrice is for

BowlPrice is free, and it is for information. It compares what dog food costs from brands we track, using prices we record ourselves from each brand's own quote process, and ranks them by price. It is not a shop: we do not sell food, take orders or handle payments, and the price you pay is always the one the brand charges when you order.

Our figures are dated estimates, not quotes. A brand can change its prices, offers or portions at any time, so always confirm on the brand's own site before you order. Nothing on BowlPrice is veterinary advice; for questions about your dog's diet or health, ask your vet.

Links to brands

When you follow a link to a brand you leave BowlPrice, and that brand's own terms and privacy policy apply to anything you do there. Some of those links are referral links, and the brand may pay us a commission if you sign up, at no cost to you. It never affects how brands rank; how we make money sets out the rules we keep.

Using our figures

You can quote any figure with credit to BowlPrice and a link where you can, without asking first. Republishing whole tables, the price index in full, or our readings as a dataset needs our permission, as our licence explains, and so does collecting our pages or our tools' answers in bulk by automated means.

Tools for AI assistants

Our tools for AI assistants are read only, free and need no account. They return the same figures as this site, on the same terms. The assistant you use is run by another company under its own terms, and what it does with our answers, including how it words them, is up to that assistant. We may change, limit or withdraw the tools at any time.

Our responsibility to you

We take care to keep our figures accurate and to correct them in public when they are wrong. We cannot promise the site or the tools will always be available, error free or current, and we are not responsible for a decision you make, or a loss you suffer, from relying on a figure without confirming it with the brand. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that the law does not allow us to limit, or takes away your statutory rights as a consumer.

Changes and the law that applies

We may update these terms. The date at the top is the last time they changed, and the version on this page is the one that applies. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and if you live elsewhere in the UK you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
